At Evans Literacy Associates, we are committed to helping children and adults build strong literacy and numeracy skills through diagnostic assessments as well as personalized, evidence-based instruction. We specialize in supporting struggling readers, individuals with dyslexia, and those needing targeted intervention in reading, writing, and spelling.

We offer comprehensive literacy and mathematics services (both evaluations and interventions) tailored to the unique needs of each student. Whether a student has been diagnosed with dyslexia, struggles with handwriting, or simply needs grade-level reinforcement, our expert tutors design customized learning plans to ensure success.
For students diagnosed with dyslexia or significant reading deficiencies, we use the Barton Reading & Spelling System, an Orton-Gillingham-based, structured literacy program that is:

✔ Explicit and systematic, teaching phonemic awareness and spelling rules step-by-step
